yes, i think he would care about age. what reasonable 35 year-old wouldn’t think twice about dating a 21 year-old? yes, love is magical and blah blah blah, but love doesn’t bloom like that; it’s a product of intimacy that can’t be gained by just looking at someone and being so hot for them, you swear to the world it’s love at first sight, and i don’t know if he’d even approach a 21 year-old like that enough for love to actually happen.
besides, no matter how mature you are for your age, certain age gaps are very hard to trespass, because you’re simply in different points in your life, especially if we’re talking about someone in their early 20s and someone in their mid-30s.
it can happen, of course, and it can work, but most of the time it’s just wishful thinking.
